Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and career development on employee job satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. The method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The population of this study was all 280 employees of PT. Indo Everest Texindo, with a sample of 74 respondents calculated using the Slovin formula. Data analysis was carried out using the SPSS version 29 application. The results of the study indicate that career motivation and career development have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that companies improve employee motivation and implement more effective career development programs to create an inclusive and supportive work environment. In addition, companies are advised to implement a more comprehensive, rigorous, and evaluative HR strategy to increase employee loyalty and productivity. This will have an impact on improving overall employee performance and job satisfaction.
