Pengaruh Stress Kerja dan Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di PT Jawa Metalindo Prima Industri

This research aims to analyze the influence of work stress and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT Jawa Metalindo Prima Industri. High work stress can reduce employee performance, while high job satisfaction can increase their performance. The research method used was a survey with a questionnaire distributed to 97 company employees. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the relationship between the independent variables (work stress and job satisfaction) and the dependent variable (employee performance). The research results show that work stress has a negative and significant influence on employee performance, with a regression coefficient value of -0.092 and a significance value of 0.000. On the other hand, job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, with a regression coefficient value of 1.040 and a significance value of 0.000. The conclusion of this research is that companies need to manage work stress levels through stress management programs and increase job satisfaction through rewards and career development to maximize employee performance. This research provides practical contributions in human resource management, especially in managing work stress and job satisfaction to increase employee productivity.
