Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Total Liabilities and Total Equity on Total Profits in Manufacturing Companies in the Consumer Goods Industry Sub-Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2020-2022 Period. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the financial reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). Researchers have collected 33 data or samples consisting of 11 companies that have been selected by researchers and the selected companies are companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the 2020-2022 period. This research uses multiple linear regression and classical assumption tests in analyzing the samples or data that have been collected. The results of this study indicate that Total Liabilities (X1) do not have a significant influence on Total Profit (Y), Total Equity (X2) has a significant influence on Total Profit (Y), while Total Liabilities (X1) and Total Equity (X2) have an influence on Total Profit (Y) simultaneously or together.
