Transformasi Digital dan Tantangan Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi Studi Kualitatif Manajemen Informatika pada Organisasi Berbasis Cloud Computing

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged many organizations to undergo digital transformation in order to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and competitiveness. One of the methods widely used in this transformation process is the implementation of cloud computing technology for managing information systems within organizations. With this technology, data storage and processing can be done online, allowing more flexible access to information. However, the use of cloud-based systems also brings several challenges for IT management, such as data security issues, system control, human resource readiness, and the need to adapt organizational policies to digital developments. This study aims to understand how digital transformation occurs and to identify various challenges in managing information technology in organizations that use cloud systems. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study to gain a deeper understanding. Data were collected through interviews with management, IT teams, and system users, as well as through observations and related documents. The data were then analyzed by simplifying the data, presenting it, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the use of cloud computing provides many benefits for organizations, such as making system management easier, improving data access, and reducing the need for physical infrastructure. However, there are also challenges, including risks related to data security and privacy, dependence on service providers, and the need to improve human resource skills in managing technology. Therefore, organizations need to manage information technology properly so that digital transformation can run effectively and sustainably.
