Abstract

The development of digital transformation requires organizations to improve the effectiveness of human resource management through the use of technology and the implementation of adaptive leadership. The success of organizations in facing change is influenced by career development that can improve employee competence and performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of HR Digital Transformation and Leadership Style on Employee Performance through Career Development at PT JEMLA FERRY Merak Banten. The study used a quantitative method with an explanatory approach through a survey design. The research sample used a saturated sampling technique with a total of 65 employees. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS through multiple linear regression, path analysis, and the Sobel test. The results showed that HR Digital Transformation had a positive and significant effect on Career Development with a coefficient of 0.361 (p<0.001), while Leadership Style had an effect of 0.270 (p=0.001). HR Digital Transformation also had an effect on Employee Performance of 0.302 (p<0.001), while Leadership Style had an effect of 0.332 (p<0.001). Career Development had a positive effect on Employee Performance with a coefficient of 0.238 (p=0.002). The Sobel test results show that Career Development partially mediates the influence of HR Digital Transformation (z=2.531; p=0.0114) and Leadership Style (z=2.296; p=0.0217) on Employee Performance. The study concluded that increasing HR digital transformation, implementing an effective leadership style, and career development can improve employee performance sustainably.
