Abstract

This research explores the influence of digital leadership on the success of digital literacy, which consists of aspects of digital ethics, digital safety, digital skills, and digital culture. The sample data used in non-probability sampling with the purposive sampling technique in this study was 250 respondents and processed using the PLS-SEM method with SmartPLS 4. This research found that digital leadership had a significant positive effect on digital literacy. Effective digital leadership plays a vital role in fostering a digital ecosystem that is safe, inclusive, and ethically responsible. Digital leaders not only reinforce cultural values in the digital space but also promote awareness regarding cybersecurity and ethical conduct. Furthermore, they contribute to enhancing individuals’ digital competencies by facilitating the acquisition of relevant skills. The outcomes of this study provide important input for the formulation of policies aimed at strengthening digital leadership development and expanding digital literacy across sectors to support a more integrated digital transformation process. In addition, this research emphasizes the need for stronger collaboration among stakeholders to ensure that digital literacy is accessible and inclusive for all segments of society. This can be realized through strategic investments in digital infrastructure, educational initiatives, and technological innovation.
