This article is motivated by the limited capital experienced by red onion farmers and the inefficiency in managing financing funds. Murabahah financing is expected to serve as a solution for capital needs and to increase the productivity of farming businesses. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants consist of bank officials and farmer customers who received financing. The data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings reveal two main points. First, the murabahah financing system at Bank Nagari Syariah Business Unit Alahan Panjang operates through a mechanism that includes application submission, field surveys, feasibility analysis using the 5C principles (Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, and Condition of Economy), contract signing, fund disbursement, and monitoring of fund utilization. The bank also implements risk mitigation strategies such as installment restructuring and providing education to customers. Second, murabahah financing plays a role in increasing the income of the majority of red onion farmers. Seven out of ten customers experienced an increase in income after receiving financing, while the remaining three experienced a decrease due to misallocation of funds. The success of the financing largely depends on the farmers' fund management and the bank's post-disbursement supervision.
