Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Hush Puppies Medan

This study aims to determine whether leadership style and work environment influence employee performance. This research is motivated by several phenomena observed in various companies in general, such as how employee performance in a company is shaped by the leadership style and work environment they have experienced. To determine the influence of these variables—Leadership Style as variable X1, Work Environment as variable X2, and Employee Performance as variable Y—the researcher distributed a 15-question questionnaire via Google Forms, which was completed by 63 respondents who are Hush Puppies employees at several outlets in the city of Medan. Based on this data, the researcher then conducted several tests, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and finally a hypothesis test to determine whether there was a significant influence on each variable. The research results indicate that leadership style and work environment influence employee performance. This is supported by the results of the t-test (partial) hypothesis testing, yielding a significance value of 0.001 for variable X1 and 0.002 for variable X2. Furthermore, the results of the F-test (simultaneous) showed that the values for X1, X2, and Y were 0.000 > 0.05, with a calculated F-value of 9.605 > 0.246. Therefore, it can be concluded that Hypothesis (H3) is accepted, namely that there is an influence of leadership style and work environment on the performance of Hush Puppies Medan employees.
