Model Pemberdayaan Komunitas Muslim di Kawasan Pinggiran Kota dalam Mewujudkan Keluarga Sejahtera melalui Pelatihan Spiritual, Interaksi Sosial Keluarga, dan Ekonomi Halal

Abstract

Spatial dynamics in Sidoarjo Regency have triggered a transformation of rural areas into peri-urban zones, impacting a shift in social structures from communal (gemeinschaft) to individualistic (gesellschaft). This change creates a disconnection between the spiritual values of the congregation and the competitive socio-economic reality, thereby threatening the resilience of Muslim families. This community service aims to implement an integrative community empowerment model through three main pillars: strengthening spiritual foundations, restructuring social interactions, and enhancing halal economic literacy. The method employed is Service Learning (SL), encompassing stages of reflection, needs assessment, empowerment action, and impact evaluation. Activities were conducted intensively at Musholla Al-Fattah, Prasung Village, during the month of Ramadan 1447 H, involving the congregation and collaborative students from three higher education institutions. The results indicate that the integration of the spiritual pillar successfully transformed ritual worship into mental resilience. In the social dimension, the restructuring of family communication effectively reduced digital disruption and strengthened internal cohesion. Meanwhile, the halal economic pillar improved the congregation's Sharia financial management literacy in accordance with KHES standards. It is concluded that revitalizing the function of the musholla as a basis for social cohesion—which synergizes theological motivation with practical sociological-financial solutions—is an absolute prerequisite for realizing prosperous families (falah) in peri-urban areas.
