Pelatihan Teknologi Kecerdasan Buatan Bagi Siswa SMK Assa’adah Bungah Gresik sebagai Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Digital dan Kesiapan Kerja

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 demands continuous improvement in digital competencies, including mastery of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, particularly for vocational high school (SMK) students as prospective members of the workforce who are expected to compete in the industrial sector. Initial observations conducted at SMK Assa’adah Bungah Gresik indicate that most students are generally familiar with the concept of the Industrial Revolution 4.0; however, they still have limited understanding of AI concepts in depth and are not yet able to apply them in learning activities or real-world problem-solving contexts. Therefore, this community service activity aims to enhance students’ digital competencies through structured and application-oriented AI training. The training activities were carried out in two stages: the delivery of material on basic AI concepts and their development, followed by a workshop on AI implementation through the development of an AI-based early stress detection system for students. The evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test methods to measure the improvement in participants’ understanding, which showed an increase of 47.44%. In addition, the results of the evaluation questionnaire indicated that the participants’ level of understanding was categorized as “Very Good.” The resulting system prototype was subsequently handed over to the school as a form of appropriate technology application and as an effort to support the integration of AI into the learning process within the school environment.
