Abstract

The Digital Santripreneur program is a community service initiative aimed at enhancing the economic independence of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) through online business training and product branding development. The partner institution, Tahfiz Assyifa Al-Islami Islamic Boarding School in Bogor, has strong potential to produce local products such as refillable drinking water, yet faces challenges in low digital literacy, conventional marketing, and the absence of brand identity. The program was implemented through five main stages: socialization, a three-day intensive training, two months of online mentoring, digital technology application, and the establishment of a Digital Santripreneur Team to ensure program sustainability. The results show significant improvement in students’ digital literacy, the creation of a branded product with professional packaging, and the activation of marketplace and business social media accounts managed by the students. This program contributes to achieving SDGs points 4, 8, and 9, and serves as a replicable model for digital-based economic empowerment in other Islamic boarding schools.
