Analisis Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Transaksional dan Kompetensi terhadap Kinerja Pegawai dengan Organizational Citizenship Behavior sebagai Variable Intervening

This study analyzes the influence of transactional leadership and competence on employee performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as an intervening variable at the Regional House of Representatives Office of Sumenep Regency. Based on its approach, this research is classified as explanatory research, involving a sample of 61 respondents. The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the effect of transactional leadership on employee performance, the effect of competence on employee performance, the effect of transactional leadership on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, the effect of competence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, and the effect of Organizational Citizenship Behavior on employee performance. In addition, this study also aims to examine the indirect effect of transactional leadership and competence on employee performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior.The results show that transactional leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with an original sample value of 0.377. Competence also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with an original sample value of 0.213. Transactional leadership and competence have positive and significant effects on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, with values of 0.420 and 0.484, respectively. Organizational Citizenship Behavior has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a value of 0.441. Furthermore, Organizational Citizenship Behavior is able to mediate the influence of transactional leadership and competence on employee performance, with values of 0.185 and 0.214, respectively.
