This quantitative study examines the influence of emotional intelligence and organizational culture on employee performance at the Pamekasan Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency, with job promotion as an intervening variable. The research involved 43 respondents and aimed to analyze both direct and indirect relationships among emotional intelligence, organizational culture, job promotion, and employee performance. The findings indicate that emotional intelligence does not have a significant direct effect on employee performance, so the first hypothesis is rejected. However, emotional intelligence significantly affects job promotion, supporting the second hypothesis. Organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance, indicating that the third hypothesis is accepted. Meanwhile, organizational culture does not have a significant effect on employee performance, leading to the rejection of the fourth hypothesis. Job promotion has a significant effect on employee performance, supporting the fifth hypothesis. Furthermore, emotional intelligence has a significant indirect effect on employee performance through job promotion, so the sixth hypothesis is accepted. Organizational culture also shows a significant indirect effect on employee performance through job promotion, although the seventh hypothesis is stated as rejected.
