Analisis Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja dan Beban Kerja terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Bendahara pada Puskesmas di Kota Batam

This study aims to analyze the effect of work environment and workload on the job satisfaction of treasurers at Public Health Centers (Puskesmas) in Batam City. Job satisfaction is an important factor in supporting the effectiveness of health services because it is closely related to employee productivity, loyalty, and work quality. The increasing administrative demands, changes in digital reporting systems, and the complexity of financial management in Public Health Centers have created considerable work pressure for treasurers, which may affect their level of job satisfaction. This study employed a quantitative method with descriptive and verificative approaches. The population consisted of all treasurers working at Public Health Centers in Batam City, totaling 42 respondents, using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination analysis. The results showed that partially, the work environment and workload variables did not have a significant effect on the job satisfaction of treasurers at Public Health Centers in Batam City. However, simultaneously, work environment and workload had a significant effect on job satisfaction. The coefficient of determination showed an R Square value of 0.167 or 16.7%, indicating that work environment and workload were able to explain 16.7% of the influence on job satisfaction, while the remaining percentage was influenced by other factors outside this study. This research is expected to serve as an evaluation material for Public Health Centers in improving work environment quality and workload management to support work effectiveness and the quality of health services.
