Pengaruh Penggunaan E-wallet terhadap Perilaku Konsumtif Mahasiswa Manajemen Generasi Gen Z dengan Literasi Keuangan sebagai Variabel Moderasi

This study aims to analyze how the use of digital wallets affects the consumption patterns of Generation Z management students at the Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia, positioning financial literacy as a moderating variable. Using a quantitative approach through a survey of one hundred respondents, the data were analyzed using the Moderated Regression Analysis method to examine the interactions between variables in depth. The descriptive results of the study indicate that digital wallet utilization is not the primary factor triggering student consumptive behavior, as these services are viewed more as practical and efficient tools for daily transactions. On the other hand, financial understanding was found to play an important role in influencing students' consumption actions, although this financial literacy has not yet been able to act as a balance or moderator in the relationship between digital wallet use and consumptive behavior. This indicates that the impact of financial technology on students' shopping lifestyles is independent and depends more on the maturity of individual financial management rather than mere technological convenience. Therefore, strengthening financial management education is highly recommended so that students can operate digital services more wisely, deliberately, and responsibly.
