Pengaruh Stres Kerja dan Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Turnover Intention Karyawan Generasi Z di Sambal Bakar Garut

The sustainability and goal attainment of an enterprise are heavily dependent on its human resources. However, companies nowadays face a critical issue regarding high turnover rates among Generation Z staff, especially within the food service industry where rapid service and intense workloads are prevalent. The objective of this study is to investigate how turnover intentions among Generation Z workers at Rumah Makan Sambal Bakar Garut are affected by work stress and job satisfaction. An associative quantitative framework was adopted, where primary data from 33 respondents was captured through Likert-scale questionnaires and evaluated using SPSS version 26. Based on the analysis, it is demonstrated that work stress has a significant positive relationship with the intention to quit, confirming the first hypothesis. In contrast, job satisfaction has a negative but insignificant relationship, meaning the second hypothesis is rejected. Combined, work-related stress and job satisfaction explain 53.7% of the turnover intention, while the rest is determined by other variables not covered in this research. This paper is expected to offer practical references for companies to lower stress levels in order to minimize turnover tendencies among Generation Z employees.
