Penerapan Lean Canvas Untuk Mengidentifikasi Peluang Pengembangan Usaha Pada UMKM Toko Jumbo Bakery di Stasiun Bogor Pintu Timur

This study aims to identify business development opportunities at Toko Jumbo Bakery by using the Lean Canvas approach. This research is motivated by the outlet’s relatively lower performance compared to other outlets, despite being located in a strategic area with high consumer mobility and commercial activity. Increasing competition in the souvenir and snack industry, changing consumer preferences, and the growing importance of digital marketing have encouraged the need to evaluate and improve the existing business model. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with the business owner and employees, as well as documentation related to operational activities, sales performance, and marketing strategies. The collected data were then analyzed using the Lean Canvas approach by identifying the nine elements of the business model. The results show several business development opportunities for Jumbo Bakery, including improving inventory management systems to reduce stock inefficiencies, implementing product bundling strategies to increase sales value, strengthening the branding of flagship products to enhance customer awareness, and optimizing digital marketing channels through social media and online platforms. In addition, strengthening customer relationships and expanding collaboration with local partners are considered important strategies to broaden market reach and increase customer loyalty. This study concludes that the Lean Canvas approach effectively helps SMEs identify business problems, evaluate business models, and formulate practical development strategies to improve business performance, competitiveness, and long-term business sustainability.
