Pengaruh Financial Knowledge, Learning Capacity, Financial Skills dan Lifestyle terhadap Financial Behavior

Financial behavior among students still shows various problems, even though they have been academically equipped with financial knowledge. The problems faced by students, particularly those majoring in financial management, include the low application of financial knowledge, lack of saving habits, and a tendency toward a consumptive lifestyle, which leads to suboptimal financial behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial knowledge, learning capacity, financial skills, and lifestyle on the financial behavior of undergraduate students majoring in financial management at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University. This research uses a quantitative approach with probability sampling as the sampling method, and data are collected through online questionnaires measured using a Likert scale, then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results show that financial knowledge, learning capacity, financial skills, and lifestyle have a positive and significant effect on financial behavior. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that improving financial knowledge, learning capacity, and financial skills can enhance students’ financial behavior, while lifestyle needs to be managed wisely to avoid negative impacts. The implications of this study are expected to serve as a reference for educational institutions in designing more applicable financial literacy programs and increasing students’ awareness in managing their finances in a rational, planned, and sustainable manner.
