Abstract

Health cadres play a crucial role in disseminating health information to the local community, particularly in promoting and advocating for sustainable, healthy lifestyles. This community service activity aims to strengthen the leadership skills of health cadres by utilizing digital media as a tool to promote public health. The method used was health education through lectures, discussions, and assistance in using digital media. The objective of this activity was to provide training to health cadre members from the Panambungan Community Health Center (UPT Puskesmas), with 20 participants. The evaluation used a pre-test and post-test design to measure the increase in knowledge and skills in using digital technology among the cadres. The results showed that knowledge of digital media increased from 56.2% to 82.4%, and digital communication skills also increased from 58.7% to 85.1%. Furthermore, there was an increase in health advocacy activities using digital technology and community participation. The conclusion of this activity indicates that strengthening the leadership skills of health cadres by using digital media is an effective and crucial way to improve the quality and coverage of public health programs.
