Abstract

To create relevant and accurate information, the Ministry of Home Affairs designed an application, namely the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) as an integrated application that is useful for improving coordination between the central government and local governments. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) in budget management at the Sukabumi Regency Transportation Service, especially in the Sea Transportation and ASDP Sector, as an effort to realize efficiency, transparency, and accountability. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, using purposive sampling and triangulation data collection techniques (observation, interviews, and documentation). The results of the study indicate that SIPD plays a significant role in increasing efficiency through the integration of the planning process to budget reporting, transparency through digital documentation that can be accessed by the public, and accountability through standardized audit trails and financial reporting. However, challenges such as apparatus resistance, limited standard price input, and repeated document revisions still hinder system optimization. This study recommends increasing human resource capacity, better data integration, and intensive socialization to strengthen the implementation of SIPD.
