Corporate fundamental information shapes investor perceptions and may influence the intensity of stock transactions in capital markets. This study examines the effects of capital structure, profitability, and liquidity on trading volume activity among food and beverage industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. An explanatory quantitative research design was employed using secondary data obtained from financial statements, annual reports, and stock trading records. The sample was selected using purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria, resulting in 72 firm-year observations. Capital structure was measured using the Debt-to-Equity Ratio, profitability was proxied by Return on Equity, liquidity was measured using the Current Ratio, and stock trading activity was represented by Trading Volume Activity. The hypotheses were tested using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that capital structure has a positive and statistically significant effect on stock trading volume activity. Profitability also exerts a positive and significant effect, while liquidity emerges as the relatively strongest predictor, with a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, these three fundamental factors significantly affect stock trading activity and explain 49.6% of the variation in Trading Volume Activity. The findings suggest that investors’ trading decisions are influenced not only by a company’s ability to generate earnings but also by its financing policies and capacity to meet short-term obligations. This study provides practical implications for corporate management in maintaining sound financial fundamentals and for investors in evaluating stocks based on relevant financial information.
