Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of employee engagement and intrinsic motivation on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable at Ummi Aufa Hakim and Cristine Hakim. The subjects of this study were employees who are currently actively working in both business units. A total of 116 questionnaires were distributed to respondents, but only 100 were successfully returned and processed due to various constraints such as incomplete responses and limited availability of participants. The analysis tool used in this research is the Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS), which is considered appropriate for analyzing complex relationships between variables. The results of the analysis indicate that employee engagement and intrinsic motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, job satisfaction plays an important role as a mediating variable, strengthening the relationship between employee engagement, intrinsic motivation, and employee performance. These findings suggest that improving employee engagement and intrinsic motivation can enhance job satisfaction, which in turn contributes to better employee performance. Therefore, organizations are encouraged to develop strategies that foster engagement, motivation, and satisfaction in the workplace.
