Adolescence is a period of rapid musculoskeletal growth, making proper posture important for preventing back pain. Excessive use of electronic devices and prolonged sitting without attention to ergonomics may increase the risk of postural disorders. Preliminary observations showed that many students at SMP Warga Surakarta did not understand proper sitting posture and frequently experienced back pain. This program aimed to improve students’ knowledge of back pain prevention and promote good posture habits. The activity involved 64 students from Class VIII B at SMP Warga Surakarta. The intervention included health education on back pain prevention through lectures, leaflets, and discussions, followed by practical bone and joint exercises. Knowledge was assessed using pre-test and post-test questionnaires, while pain levels were measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Data were analyzed descriptively by comparing pre-test and post-test results. The average knowledge score increased from 87% before the intervention to 100% afterward, with all participants classified as having good knowledge. These findings indicate that combining health education with bone and joint exercises can effectively improve students’ knowledge of back pain prevention from an early age.
